This book has been recognized world wide and is available in 65 languages. As a matter of fact, it’s setting a new industry standard – and it’s all about having a ‘Blood Type Diet’.

“So?” you may ask. “What’s all this hype about just another dieting book?” Well, even though it has to do with your diet, it is more of a lifestyle book than an ordinary diet book. Most diet books or routines are just that, a routine. Eat right for your type is focused on more than just changing routine, it’s about who you are, where you come from and what each individual body needs.

What Does My Blood Type Need?

Each blood type needs specific foods to function at full capacity. I will explain this briefly. There are 4 blood types, type A, B, AB and O. O is considered the oldest blood type. Thus, appropriately, type O individuals should consume more meat as historically they would have been hunters. Type O individuals are prone to tummy problems, so they should steer clear of processed food like pasta and bread.

Conversely, Type A individuals were historically gathers, thus they should eat less meat and more fruit, vegetables, berries, nuts, whole grains, beans and legumes. Type B individuals were also gathers but they should stick to green vegetables, eggs, certain types of meat and low fat dairy. Finally, Type AB is a combination of the two above, but these individuals can also indulge in seafood. Type AB individuals should steer clear of caffeine, alcohol and cured meat.
